John is Brand Strategist, Writer, and Founding Partner of Field of Study (Formerly known as Spindletop Design)
With a range of experience and a background in critical thinking, visual theory, and a Master’s of Fine Arts from New York’s School of Visual Arts, John is uniquely talented at crafting imaginative, engaging, and successful visual and brand strategies for clients in a variety of industries. John currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at The Printing Museum and is a past officer of the Houston Chapter of AIGA, contributing his talents both as Director of Educational Programming and as Director of Operations. His strategies, research, and writing have formed the basis of numerous brand and visual identity systems recognized with awards and publication. In addition, he is a Founding Partner of letterpress printer, Workhorse Printmakers.
