With delicious hot dogs, salads, and sides all made locally or from scratch, Good Dog Houston built a following as a food truck and continued to please as a brick and mortar with two locations.
In brief
While their food was stacking up rave reviews, Good Dog Houston’s web presence was severely lacking. With a recently opened first location, they desired to create a solution which would drive interest in the brand as well as be an easy to update source for information.
Scope of work
- Web
- Brand refinement
Although we did execute a minor brand refinement, our main focus was creating a web experience to match that of Good Dog’s brick and mortar. Key functional desires were a form for catering to standardize incoming requests and an editable online menu template which would facilitate easy user updates. Our WordPress based, mobile responsive solution meets these needs and engages the user with bright colors, textures, unexpected animations, and informational hierarchy which guides easy navigation. Custom illustrations, photography, and a ketchup shaped cursor (purists note, a mustard cursor was too low visibility) complete the fun.
