Made from simple, natural ingredients in flavor combinations inspired by seasonal and local herbs, Tavola Pasta couples the tradition of artisan pasta with locally sourced sensibilities. Tavola Pasta was looking for a brand identity that conveyed their ideals and effectively translated into retail packaging that met the needs of big box retailers.

For such a simple and staple product, pasta is available in a near limitless variety of shapes and colors.
Our goal was to capture this variety of form and add a dash of Italian Modern. We expressed our love of pasta’s varieties through energetic color and patterning of shapes complemented with a bold mix of san-serif and script typography.
Retail packaging consists of food grade craft boxes with a die-cut window inviting the consumer to see the colorful and well-crafted product within. With a bold, color coded strip identifying the product’s flavor, each variety’s packaging is easily identifiable and visible on the crowded shelf space of big-box retailers, yet appropriate in tone for more boutique retail applications.
