In “Sounding Legacies”, the 2022/23 Ars Lyrica Houston season concert series theme, Artistic Director Matthew Dirst sought to link together various programs that honor a particular person or culture, whether mythological or real.
We explored an abstracted idea of mirroring legacy through craft—this being inspiration from marbled endpapers—to create a unique visual frame in which the season along with each concert has its own mark.
